The implementation of smart manufacturing technologies is one of the central challenges of modern production systems. While research has produced numerous models, optimization methods and digital solutions, their practical deployment in industrial environments often reveals significant technical, organizational and economic barriers.
This panel brings together experts from academia and industry to discuss the real challenges faced when implementing smart production systems in practice. The discussion will focus on the gap between theoretical solutions and real industrial conditions, as well as on strategies for bridging this gap.
